So googling the opening hours it states closes at 3.30pm, yet I'm standing out the front with young kids staring at a closed door and empty store at 2.45pm.Wife and kids regularly come here in the mornings so was hoping to bring the kids. However the front of the store has a sign that states opening hours 7.30-closed. so I'm assuming they just shut whenever they feel like it. Seems like a poor business strategy.
Looked for a place to stop for breakfast on way home from Brisbane. Found the Braisen Hussy. A little cottage at Woodford with the best value breakfast in Australia. Nicely cooked & presented. Try the Eggs Benedict & the huge all-day breakfast. Dog friendly. Relaxed seating on small verandah & large outdoor grassy area with umbrellas. Enjoyed the Duo playing. Looked to be very popular. Highly recommend & will go there again.
What a great place. We have been many times and always had great food, coffee and service. Sometimes they get a bit busy but its always a pleasure sitting there so whats the hurry. The staff are so busy in a small kitchen but are always pleasant and helpful. We will keep returning.
Quaint little cafe with lots of charming atmosphere and a nice garden setting with comfy chairs, some sun, some shade. The coffee was excellent and when we return next time, we'll try out their food. Update:We returned the following week and just like the coffee, the food did not disappoint! Decent prices, good sized portions, looked super fresh and inviting, plated beautifully and tasted even more delicious than my eyes promised it would. YUM YUM! We are sold! You are almost an hour from home but we are committed to coming back regularly now. Keep the great food coming and we'll continue to return time after time to sample it! Cheers! Sandi.
